Thought I didn’t discover my pictorial vocation but until the late age of the 27 years, my aesthetic sensibility remained deeply marked at 18. A strong spiritual crisis combined with roused readings of Shakespeare, Goethe, Whitman and Victor Hugo, carried me to discover through aesthetic experience, the existence of a new world of vast and transcendent significations.

In my paintings I try to reach the expressive force of who for me represent the maximal expression of poetic experience: Artur Rimbaud. My inclination for use of ink, results in compositions in black and white, whose purpose is the excusive handling of the form. It’s the tentative of getting in a visual world satured of images, the maximal expression, through a visual primary impact using the most simple medium.

The synthetic of the technique combined with the baroque of the compositions, both represent the basic characteristic of my work. The handling of the line, shows my preference for geometric and logician rigor of my mind. My plastics creations, not belongs to pictorial painting, but to the drawing painting, because the expressive handling of the form for the movements of the line is the fundamental tendency.
