Ika Forssell is a Swedishartist living in Singapore.  She is constantly looking to explore new areas in life.  In the pursuit of this, she has encountered an overwhelmingly heavy flow of ideas to express on a canvas.

Ika has lived in Brazil, Sweden, and Japan before coming to Singapore, and she has traveled extensively around the world.  An uninhibited mix of cultural input is expressed through her art.  Japanese washi paper and sometimes Indonesian batik are incorporated in her oil paintings to bring out an added element of interest to entice the viewer's curiosity.

Ika has participated in a number of exhibitions around Singapore as well as in Dubai, India, Malaysia, Germany and Spain.
